Organizations Against Fraud
A number of Canadian organizations are dedicated to the fight against fraud. Among them, the Canadian Health Care Anti-Fraud Association and PhoneBusters offer their services to consumers.

Canadian Health Care Anti-Fraud Association |
The Canadian Health Care Anti-Fraud Association was founded in 2000 to give a voice to the public and private sector health care organizations interested in preventing fraud in the Canadian health care environment.
Industrial Alliance is a member of the Canadian Health Care Anti-Fraud Association as an organization responsible for the detection, prevention and investigation and prosecution of health care fraud.

PhoneBusters is a national anti-fraud call centre jointly funded by the Ontario Provincial Police, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, and the Competition Bureau. Canadians can call PhoneBusters to report incidence of telemarketing fraud and identity theft or to learn more about how to protect themselves from fraud.
