Short-Term Disability Insurance |
Short-term disability income insurance guarantees
a regular income to a member who becomes disabled because of an accident

(generally 17, 26 or 52 weeks).
This insurance provides members with automatic
eligibility to the employment insurance premium rate reduction—representing
considerable savings on employment insurance premiums.

Long-Term Disability Insurance |
A natural complement to short-term disability
income insurance or a salary continuation plan administered by the employer,
this protection guarantees a regular income to a disabled member until
the age of 65. Various coverage plans are available.
