Acquisition of The National Life Assurance Company of Canada
In 1988, Industrial Alliance
acquires The National Life Assurance Company of Canada,
a Toronto-based company founded in 1899.
Until June 2005, National Life offered its own
line of insurance products and financial services across the country through
its Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg, Toronto, Montreal and Halifax offices.
National Life was integrated with Industrial
Alliance on June 30, 2005.
