Acquisition of Stock Brokerage Firms and Creation of Industrial Alliance Securities Inc.

In 2002, Industrial Alliance enters onto the stock brokerage scene with its acquisition of ISL-Lafferty Securities Inc. and certain assets of BNP (Canada) Securities Inc. and Leduc & Associates Securities (Canada) Ltd.

These acquisitions are part of a growth strategy aimed at further expanding the Company’s distribution capacity into all financial services sectors and providing representatives with a complete range of financial products.
