Eligibility Criteria
Although a large number of causes are deserving of financial support, Industrial Alliance favours those that seek to improve people's quality of life and that foster development in health, education (mainly university-level) and social services.
According to our eligibility criteria, we cannot support requests for:

Organizations that don't issue charitable tax receipts |

For-profit organizations (including any promotional or sales activities)
|
|
Religious organizations or institutions
|
|
Political organizations or campaigns
|
|
Primary or secondary educational institutions
|
|
Fundraising campaigns, for example, for study trips, ads in school programs/yearbooks and internships
|
|
Organizations affiliated with the United Way (which is already supported by Industrial Alliance)
|
|
Protest groups
|
|
Organizations working abroad (outside Canada)
|
|
Requests from an individual
|
|
Retiree or social clubs
|
|
Athletic or athletic competition clubs (amateur or professional)
|
|
Construction of buildings
|
|
