The Industrial Alliance group has always considered its commitment to the community as a natural extension of the values that have enabled it to grow and develop over the last 100 years.

Here are examples of what Industrial Alliance supports:
Medical research
Industrial Alliance gives financial support to organizations that encourage medical research, e.g. research on cancer, leukemia, heart disease, etc., and that support people afflicted by these illnesses.
Education
Industrial Alliance gives financial aid to a large number of university foundations that support higher education and scientific research.
Social Services: United Way
For many years, the company has given unconditional financial support to the United Way. On top of financial contributions as a company, it encourages its employees to undertake personal initiatives.
Every year, Industrial Alliance frees an employee from their company duties so that they can organize the regional campaign. In addition, at the head office, employees are invited to take part in a number of fundraising activities for the United Way.
Over the past few years, the company was awarded a Diamond Certificate from the United Way. This is the highest honour that the organization bestows upon a company that supports it.
Imagine Program
Industrial Alliance endorses the principles of the Imagine Program, which encourages companies to donate 1% of their profits to organizations that play a support role in their communities.
